Separation Kinetics is developing
specialized membrane systems for a wide range of gas and liquid separation
applications. In bio-energy applications, the Company's cost effective
membranes will replace older, more expensive and less flexible separation
processes. In development efforts, the Company has tested an ethanol
enrichment membrane that has demonstrated high concentrations and will
replace or complement current ethanol distillation processes. In addition, a
dehydration membrane under development will replace the dehydration or
molecular sieve processes. A phase separation membrane is being developed to
separate and purify bio-diesel and by products.
